بعث صاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس برقية تعزية ومواساة إلى فخامة السيد عبد الفتاح السيسي، رئیس جمهورية مصر العربية، على إثر الحادث المفجع لاندلاع حريق في كنيسة أبي سيفين غرب القاهرة.
وجاء في برقية جلالة الملك “تلقيت بتأثر بالغ وأسى عميق، نبأ الحادث المفجع لاندلاع حريق في كنيسة أبي سيفين غرب القاهرة، مما خلف العديد من الضحايا والمصابين”.
وأضاف جلالته “وبهذه المناسبة المحزنة، أتقدم إلى فخامتكم ومن خلالكم إلى الأسر المكلومة وإلى الشعب المصري الشقيق، بأحر التعازي وصادق المواساة، داعيا الله تعالى أن يتغمد الضحايا بواسع رحمته ويتقبلهم في ملكوته الأعلى، وأن يمن على المصابين بالشفاء العاجل، ويلهمكم وذويهم جميل الصبر وحسن العزاء”.
ومما جاء في هذه البرقية أيضا ” وإذ أسأل الله عز وجل أن يحفظكم وبلدكم الشقيق من كل مكروه أرجو أن تتفضلوا، فخامة الرئيس، بقبول أخلص مشاعر تضامني وتعاطفي، مشفوعة بأسمى عبارات تقديري”.
